Behind the Scenes: Recruiting Superstar Speakers
|
|
“Where medical education meets fun” is our motto at Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts for good reason: Fun is a key ingredient of our recipe for success, with our focus on building community, traveling to destination locations for our CME Conferences, and selecting the most engaging and spirited, thought-leading speakers to teach during our four-day conferences!
No matter which conference you attend, you’ll notice that we dedicate an entire day to a particular topic, with one speaker handling each day-long track. Not only can our attendees take a deep dive into their area of expertise as a result, but they also become more familiar with the presenter’s style and delivery. It’s a more intimate, personable experience that opens itself to questions, dialogue, and laughter. The result? A better experience for the learner, leading 98 percent of our loyal audience saying they love our speakers.

“Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts’ speakers are all really great, very personable and very interactive,” said Ashley Valentine, a PA specializing in pediatric plastic surgery. “The sessions felt like a conversation, which I find so conducive to learning. Everything really stuck with me; it’s a great environment to learn!”

Attendees and their families were able to tour the helicopter and meet the team based in Milton, Florida, which is part of an extensive network comprised of nearly 36,000 clinicians and support members. Locally, Life Guard Air Care 3 conducts between 30-40 critical care transports a month, contributing to the wider network’s impressive fleet, which includes 8,200 ground transport vehicles, and hundreds of airplanes and helicopters.
This exceptional crew specializes in rapid medical interventions and advanced patient care under the most challenging conditions, from cardiac emergencies and severe trauma to critical airway management. They are equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology for ultrasound-guided procedures, rapid blood transfusions, intubation, and much more.
