At Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts, we know that learning styles differ, with some people thriving on in-person CME experiences while others do better through online, self-paced CME. We also know that as the year closes in on December, the need for earning CME quickly may drive many toward online packages – prompting us to package and release a brand-new “Best of the Best 2024” On-demand continuing medical education (CME) course!
Offering 33.75 CME credit hours (Rx=8.75), Best of the Best 2024 makes it easy for physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and registered nurses (RNs) to earn CME at their own pace while exploring cardiology and emergency medicine, dermatology, diabetes, orthopedics, pain management, and women’s health.

We know that information is only helpful if one can find it, so we’ve recently upgraded and improved our website search feature on the CME Conference and Online CME pages! You can now search conferences by topic, speaker, location, and more. Or, you can use a filter button to search by year, month, and location. We will be upgrading the search feature on our home page, as well.
If you haven’t visited our website recently, be sure to check it out! We’ve posted our 2025 CME Conference schedule, added more On-demand packages, and expanded our Master Clinician Series library.

Tackling Diabetes through Education and Action
|
|
November is Diabetes Awareness Month, a time when the American Diabetes Association and the healthcare community mobilizes to raise further awareness about diabetes – the fastest-growing chronic disease in the world and the most expensive chronic disease in the U.S. One in 10 Americans, in fact, will be diagnosed with diabetes, with 90 percent of them diagnosed with the more preventable type 2. Most of these people don’t even know they are at risk, and often there are no symptoms of prediabetes. The good news is, with early detection and awareness, people can take steps to prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes.

A High-Flying Success
Attendees at our CME Conference in Pensacola Beach, FL in May so enjoyed the on-site visit and live demonstrations of the Life Guard Air Care – the nation’s leading provider of helicopter air ambulance services – that we invited the crew back for our CME Conference in Pensacola in September! Conference participants and their families toured the helicopter, met the clinical flight crew, and asked questions about flight medicine.
The flight team is based in Milton, FL, and is part of an extensive network comprised of nearly 36,000 clinicians and support members. Locally, Life Guard Air Care 3 conducts between 30-40 critical care transports a month, contributing to the wider network’s impressive fleet, which includes 8,200 ground transport vehicles, and hundreds of airplanes and helicopters.
Enjoy video footage from the crew’s visit in May!
