Since our founding in 2011 and our pilot CME Conference in Orlando, Fla., over Labor Day Weekend, we’ve welcomed 16,400 physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and registered nurses (RNs) to 78 conferences, where they have learned from and were entertained by 125 speakers. Thousands more have joined us online, and we’ve awarded nearly 500,000 CME credit hours. We’re proud of our growth – and since our first conference knew we were on to something when we made “Making Medical Meetings Fun” an integral part of our mission.
More than three times the number of anticipated participants came to our very first conference, and we haven’t slowed down since: We’ve added new destination conference locations every year and are now up to nine events across the country. We’re committed to earning our participant’s loyalty by providing a one-of-a-kind experience through our “4 E Promise” – which is to say they’ll be educated, energized, engaged, and entertained. In fact, 98 percent of our participants say they love our speakers and would recommend our CME events to their friends and colleagues, and that we provide a good value and meet their goals. We’re now the fastest-growing CME series in the nation with In-Person, Virtual, and On-Demand CME courses.
“I’m proud of so many things, including our unique approach to learning that inspires participants to go back to their workplaces and use what they learned to positively impact the healthcare and well-being of their local communities,” said Creator Chuck Dillehay. “I’m also super proud of our Turn It Up foundation, created to support children who are deaf or hard of hearing in pursuing their musical interests. Each year, we review applications for scholarships for music lessons or other musical pursuits, and awards are intended to assist recipients with educational costs, including tuition and fees. A portion of every conference registration goes directly to fund scholarships, and we’ve raised over $100,000 to date!”
Looking forward, we’re excited by the opportunities that advances in technology have created for online learning, which is an important complement to our in-person conferences. We know that not everyone can carve time out of their professional or personal lives to travel and earn the CME they may need in any given year, and we also know that not everyone learns the same way. Our world-class live-streaming options give everyone the chance to tune in from wherever they are – and with our On-Demand offerings, whenever they want. Thank you, to all who have made our first 13 years such a huge success – we look forward to continuing to serve you for another lucky 13!
