Aleece Fosnight, PA-C, CSC-S, CSE, NCMP, IF
A CME Conference is only as good as its speakers, and at Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts, we hire the best. To us, that means they’re up-to-date, they’re thought leaders in their field, and they’re engaging enough to keep attendees’ attention over the course of their full-day of focused study. For women’s health, we turn to Aleece Fosnight, PA-C, CSC-S, CSE, NCMP, IF, a physician assistant who specializes in sexual medicine, women’s health, and urology. She is a certified sex counselor, sexuality educator, and sex counselor supervisor through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, as well.
“Sexual health is not discussed in physician assistant schooling,” she asserts, “and it is so essential to overall health. With 6,000 people reaching menopause every day, this is another area that is desperately in need of education and debunking myths around hormone therapy … and that’s why I feel it’s so important to continue one’s medical education after formal schooling.”
In 2024, Fosnight is especially excited to share new advances in her field with CME Conference attendees, including information about a new non-hormonal medication for vasomotor symptoms of menopause, as well as low-intensity shockwave therapy for pelvic pain. “I love speaking at Skin, Bones’ conferences,” she added. “I can reach so many more healthcare providers, and I appreciate that Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts welcomes my edgy approach – I’m not afraid to talk about supposedly ‘taboo’ topics.”
