Debbie is also featured in our Master Clinician Series on diabetes, providing an overview of diabetes-focused nutrition.
A clinician and diabetes educator for over 40 years and an advanced practice nurse, Debbie works with patients at Memorial Hospital, University of Colorado Health, in Colorado Springs with a multidisciplinary team. She also provides diabetes services at Tri-Lakes Cares and is involved extensively with the American Association of Diabetes Educators, having served as their national President. She has also served on the national board of directors for the American Diabetes Association and currently serves on the ADA board for Colorado and the mountain states.
